About the Steese Volunteer Fire Department
We cover a fire service area of 32 sq. miles and an Emergency Service Area of 2200 sq. miles in Fairbanks, Alaska. Our newest station is located on Farmers Loop Road and was provided thanks to a grant by the state, allowing us to better serve our areas and manage our average of over 500 yearly emergency response calls. We are in constant need of volunteers and believe in training and empowering community members to serve in emergency situations. Please consider becoming a part of our well-trained response team.
