Volunteer Opportunities PDF Print E-mail

We have ample opportunities for community members to be a part of our services. Whether you are led to fight fire or just be available for landscaping at the stations or answering phone calls, the following positions are available for volunteers. Ambulance Thumb

  • EMT - Respond to emergency calls as a medic.  We respond with EMT 1, 2, 3's and Paramedics.
  • Firefighter - Respond to emgerency calls as a member of the fire team.  We have three types of fire responders: Jump Seat Qualified (JSQ), Firefighter 1 and 2.
  • Support Member - Helping out wherever you have a  gift.  Be it landscaping, plowing snow, making food after an incident, helping with office work, answering phones or taking photos.
In order to volunteer you need to become a member with the Steese Volunteer Fire Department.
